The name
Aether, meet ion.
The ancients believed aether was the fifth element: the substance that filled the heavens and held everything else in place. An ion is the charged particle that makes things move.
Aethion joins the two. It is what we aim to be for every client: the steady element that keeps a program together, and the energy that keeps it moving.
Our mark is a single ribbon folded into an A, with a twist like a Möbius strip: one continuous surface with no loose ends. It stands for continuity and follow-through.

Alisha founded Aethion Technologies to give federal agencies a partner that combines rigorous program support with genuine ownership of the outcome.
She brings agile delivery and software engineering experience to every engagement. As a Scrum Master, she runs the delivery cadence for a cross-functional software team, where stronger sprint readiness raised sprint completion from 72% to 88% and cut mid-sprint scope changes by about 75%.
Before that, Alisha was a full-stack software engineer building financial data products. She led her team’s adoption of generative AI development tools and supported release planning with product, QA and client stakeholders, giving her a practitioner’s view of how technology programs succeed and where they stall.
